- Blue Ridge Manor [Jefferson County]
- Crystal Mountain [Watauga County]
- Elk River [Avery County]
- High Vista [Henderson County
- Holly Acres [Wake County]
- Hound Ears [Watauga County]
- Linville Ridge [Avery County
- Mountain Air [Yancy County
- Nakanor Section [Ashe County]
- Riverbend [Macon County
- Sherwood Forest [Transylvania County
- Ski Country [Watauga County]
- Ski Mountain [Watauga County]
- Watauga Vista [Watauga County]
- Wolf Laurel [Madison and Yancy Counties]
Flooding, power outages and power restoration can impact water system equipment, potentially allowing bacteria into the water. Until further notice, residents in impacted communities should vigorously boil water for one minute.
