AMI FAQ

Can I access old water meter data?
Yes. You can still access the old meter read data, but you will need to select your old meter in MUA.
1. Sign in. Select ‘Usage’. The initial display will reflect AMI meter usage.
2. Use the ‘Meter Number’ drop-down to access meter usage data. You can opt to view previous (manual) meter usage as well as overall usage across both meters.
3. Review your period usage data.

What is continuous consumption?
Continuous Consumption means water is being used every hour of the day, even during times when you would expect no usage (such as overnight). This could be due to:
1. Legitimate uses (e.g., drip irrigation)
2. Leaks (e.g., a running toilet or a broken irrigation line)
If you notice unexpected continuous usage, investigate for possible leaks or running appliances.

Sign up for Continuous Consumption alerts! Receive a text, e-mail, or call if your meter records continuous water use for 24 hours or more.
After logging into My Utility Account, click "My Account" then select "Notification Preferences" to choose how you would like to receive alerts.
