Precautionary Boil Water Notice - Crownwood/Golden Hills

On the morning of September 26, SWS experienced a water main break in the area of NW 8th Terrace in Golden Hills. 16 homes have been impacted. Doors of homes have been tagged with a precautionary boil water notice.

As a precaution, we recommend that you vigorously boil water for 1-2 minutes prior to drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes. As an alternative, bottled water may be used. The precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until a satisfactory bacteriological survey is received which typically takes 48 hours. Customers will be notified by a second phone notification message once the boil advisory can be rescinded.
