Community Utilities of Indiana Investing $4.3M in Local Infrastructure

This year, Community Utilities of Indiana is investing approximately $4.3M to support continued reliable service.

Did you know?

Water and wastewater infrastructure is the backbone of a healthy community. We rely on our infrastructure systems to deliver the safe, reliable water and wastewater services we depend on each day.

Throughout the country, many of these systems are aging and in need of repair, rehabilitation and replacement. They require ongoing investment to maintain safe and reliable operations

At Community Utilities of Indiana, we work hard to upgrade our local systems so our customers can continue to trust the service we deliver now and in the future. Our customers support these important investments by paying their bills.

2025 investments include, among others, the following:

  • Twin Lakes – Headworks Project - Replacing old bar screen treatment process with a new, automatic operation treatment process to improve overall water treatment
  • Twin Lakes – 900 feet of water main replacement
  • Twin Lakes – Inflow and Infiltration reduction program to improve the flow of wastewater
  • Twin Lakes – Water treatment plant improvements
