Twin Lakes Sewer Cleaning and Televising

Dear Customer: Please be advised that Community Utilities of Indiana, Twin Lakes, has contracted with Pipe view to perform sanitary sewer cleaning and televising work on the sanitary sewer mains in your locations of the system, including those adjacent to your property. The work is scheduled to begin Monday, May 12, 2025, and last through Wednesday, May 29, 2025. The maintenance and inspection work will be performed Monday thru Friday between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm. This work is necessary to check the condition of the sanitary sewer and to perform routine maintenance. The routine maintenance work consists of relining a portion of the sewer and excavating to make repairs to reduce inflow and infiltration and minimize basement back-ups. The process of sewer cleaning uses water jetting equipment that may induce pressure changes within the sewer. Several tips to help reduce any inconvenience during the scheduled work are: Keep toilet seat covers Closed. Loosen caps or plugs on any exterior sewer cleanouts. Cover basement and first floor drains to prevent any backsplash. If you experience any odors after the cleaning has taken place, make sure that pea traps or floor drains have water in them by running your faucets or adding water.
