Prairie Path Water Company Investing $8.5M in Local Infrastructure

This year, Prairie Path Water Company is investing approximately $8.5M to support continued reliable service.

Water and wastewater infrastructure is the backbone of a healthy community. We rely on our infrastructure systems to deliver the safe, reliable water and wastewater services we depend on each day. 

Throughout the country, many of these systems are aging and in need of repair, rehabilitation and replacement. They require ongoing investment to maintain safe and reliable operations. 

At Prairie Path Water Company, we work hard to upgrade our local systems so our customers can continue to trust the service we deliver now and in the future. Our customers support these important investments by paying their bills. 

2025 investments include, among others, the following:

  • All areas - Meter upgrade installation project.
  • Ferson Creek - Construction of a new wastewater treatment plant to meet future compliance obligations.
  • Whispering Hills Jasper - Water tower roof replacement and painting.
  • Whispering Hills – Drilling a new well to improve water quality.
  • Cedar Water – Water plant roof replacement and treatment upgrades.
  • Westlake Wastewater - Lift station rehabilitation to prolong life expectancy.
  • Apple Canyon and Galena - Service line replacements.
