Utility Services of Illinois-Oakwood Watermain Break-BWA

Dear Customer:

This is an important message from Utility Services of Illinois-Oakwood your local utility provider.  Today is Thursday, January 27, 2022. This is a follow up message regarding the watermain break that occurred yesterday that you were notified of.  We are continuing to make repairs and during this time customers may see fluctuations in their water pressure.  If possible, we are asking customer to please limit their water usage.  You are still under a precautionary Boil Water Advisory until further notice. We ask that you please boil your water for a minimum of 5 minutes prior to using for drinking or cooking until further notice. We anticipate the boil water advisory being lifted no sooner than 48 hours. We must pass satisfactory testing results before lifting the advisory. However, we will provide you with a status update within 48 hours. A follow up message will be sent to you again when this boil water advisory is lifted.
