Utilities, Inc. of Louisiana Receives High Water Grades from Louisiana Department of Health

Utilities, Inc. of Louisiana is celebrating high water grades earned from the Louisiana Department of Health.

Utilities, Inc. of Louisiana received 18 As, 2 Bs and 1 C. The letter grades are based on several different factors, including water quality violations, infrastructure, contaminants and operations. The letter grades also consider organizational management matters like customer satisfaction and financial stability.

“These high marks are a testament to our employees who work hard every day to deliver safe, reliable service to their friends and neighbors,” said Aaron Accardo, Senior Vice President of Utilities, Inc. of Louisiana. “We take great pride in the role that we play in the lives of our customers by delivering such a critical commodity as water.”

He continued, “These results also highlight how a private water and wastewater utility’s willingness to invest in our state’s critical infrastructure can positively impact the communities we serve. Many of our water systems were acquired in the last nine years and with them came significant investment needs. We have met those needs, and the needs of our customers head on, and we will continue to do so.”

Over the last three years, Utilities, Inc. of Louisiana has invested over $21 million for water and wastewater system upgrades to support safe, reliable service. Utilities, Inc. of Louisiana operates water systems across the entire state of Louisiana, with the highest concentration in St. Tammany Parish.
