Important Notice Regarding Water Filter Salespeople

We want to take a moment to address an important issue regarding recent unsolicited visits and calls from salespeople, not affiliated with Blue Granite Water Company, offering water filters and asserting that our water supply is contaminated. 

We want to assure you that the water we provide is regularly tested and meets all safety standards. Your community’s water quality report can be found here.  If lead from your home’s pipes is a concern, use cold water only for drinking/cooking.  

You can also do the following:

  • Flush taps for several minutes before use to clear standing water in pipes
  • Install a certified NSF/ANSI 53 lead-removing water filter
  • Regularly clean faucet aerators
  • Consider full pipe replacement with plastic or PVC piping for the best long-term solution
