Customer Service Updates Coming

Dear Valued Customer,

At Community Utilities of Alabama, Inc., we are proud to deliver safe, reliable and vital service which enables our communities to thrive. We have made and will continue to make improvements to the essential wastewater systems that serve you.

This message is to inform you of important upcoming changes to your utility service.

We’ve grown!
As you may already know, our parent company completed a merger last year, resulting in our Alabama operations expanding. On August 1, 2025, Community Utilities of Alabama, Inc. will merge with Alabama Water Utilities, Inc. At that time, our name will change, and we will be known as Alabama Water Utilities.

We will also update our logo to coincide with our new name. Additional changes will include:

🗸 An updated website to provide customers with a better online experience.

🗸  Your bill design will be updated. Key information including the due date, amount due, and messages will be prominently displayed. We expect the new layout to be available for your bill received in August.

🗸 To further support customer service, our online self-service platform will transition to new technology. We will communicate about important steps to take to sign up for the new portal closer to Aug. 1.

New look with enhanced Customer Service.
We are thrilled to continue to serve you. These upgrades, in addition to a refreshed look and feel, will bring improvements in Customer Service.

Please, “pardon our dust” as we make these changes and be sure to read our updates as we prepare for our transition on August 1. We will be communicating with customers via email, bill inserts and web postings. Our Customer Service team will also have important information to be able to assist you.
