Barney Rhett - emergency repairs and boil water advisory due to water main break

This message is to inform you that we are currently conducting emergency repairs due to a water main break, today, Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

Customers will experience periods of low pressure and outages in the distribution system due to an emergency repair in your area caused by a contractor hitting one of our water lines. Repairs are expected to take a few hours to complete barring no complications. Periods of low or no pressure in the distribution system increase the potential for back siphonage and the introduction of bacteria into the water system.

As a precaution, we are issuing a boil water advisory until further notice. Please boil your water vigorously for at least 1 minute before drinking or cooking with it. You will receive a follow-up message when this advisory is lifted.
