Every Day is Earth Day

For over 50 years, Earth Day has served as a reminder to protect our planet and natural resources for future generations. In observance of Earth Day on Saturday, April 22, 2023, we are encouraging customers to use water wisely and to incorporate more planet-friendly approaches to everyday life. Everyone can make a difference!

Conservation Ideas 💡🌎💚

Choose Tap Water! Tap water is safe and sustainable. Drink from the tap instead of reaching for another plastic bottle.

Recycle and Reuse. Recycling keeps waste out of landfills and reduces the need to use more of our precious natural resources.

Skip Single-Use. Most single-use plastic items end up in landfills, oceans and waterways. Try and reuse if you can.

Plant Smart! Choose plants that are native to your local area! Native plants are easier to grow, use less water, and support birds, pollinators & other wildlife.

Collect Rainwater. Gathering rainwater is a great way to conserve water. Depending on where you live, it can provide enough to hydrate your whole garden!

Go Paperless. Paperless bill statements help the environment by reducing the amount of paper we use. Log in to My Utility Account to update your bill preferences.

What Else Can You Do?

Only flush the three P’s – Pee, Poo & Paper (toilet paper that is). Many household items do not break down in the toilet when flushed. To protect our pipes and the planet, keep everything but the three P's - Pee, Poo and Paper - out of the toilet! What not to flush.

You can also protect the environment by checking for household leaks. Find and fix leaks inside and outside your home to save valuable water and money! Be a leak detective.

Thank you for doing your part to conserve water resources.
